NATO in the wake of Hitler – Drang nach Osten

NATO in the wake of Hitler – Drang nach Osten

The current fascism of powers springs, in careless and deceptive forms, from an “information” that spreads, with superficialities or lies and, accepted by acephalic people; with precarious lives, inattentive manipulated by the vast majority of the media that, in their vast majority, most are infected dumps. No one should be surprised if the military escalation leads to a devastating war in Europe, taken as the Pentagon's training arena.

Our families, our homes, our livelihoods are at risk; and, cemeteries could become… very profitable investments.

1 - Background. From NATO fattening to Covid-19

A century ago, imperial England still dominated the seas with the swagger of a great power; and, like the racist owner of a colonial empire where the sun was always as present as the scourge on the backs of the colonized; benefiting from the defeat of Germany in the War of 1914/18 and from the weaknesses of Russia, after that war ravaged by famine and civil war.

Later, the same England withstood Hitler's impetus after the Nazi occupation of France and the fascism of almost all of Europe, which only Ireland, Sweden and, Switzerland escaped as neutrals; this as an essential financial platform and secret meetings between the big capitalists. Also left out were the clerical-fascist regimes of the Iberian Peninsula, where Portugal maintained its dependence on England but selling wolfram to both sides of the war; and a fascist Spain that, exhausted, after the civil war, cautiously placed itself outside the European war even though he had devised plans with Germany to occupy Portugal, in order to eliminate the possibility of an English landing there.

Of course, England would have foundered had it not been for constant US support. And these, took advantage of the war in Europe and the East to get out of the recession of the 30s, without any pinch caused by the enemies, in their own territory (apart from Pearl Harbour One could only complain about its neoliberal quirk. On the other hand, Hitler forced the invasion of the USSR to reach the oil reserves of the Caucasus and the black lands of Ukraine, to have fuel and cereals, opening another war front; what was fatal to him.

The segmentation of Europe between East and West after World War II facilitated the continuity of the presence of US troops and military bases in Western Europe, having as an argument the defence against a possible onslaught of the USSR that, in the meantime, had occupied Eastern Europe. From an ideological point of view, the two models they were under confrontation; one, multi-party, which comprised the domain of private capital, enriched by a strong public sector; and the other, with a predominance of public companies and a single party (even if formally a coalition, as in East Germany). The predominance of capital accumulation in both models is evident, with the subordination of effectively democratic decision-making formulas; in one, a political class emerged as the representative of private capitalists and, in the other, the political class accumulated political functions with economic management.

Concerning the war in Ukraine and, the media barrage on the subject, COVID-19 seemed to be away. However, as the war is going to last, in the Portuguese parish, the hysteria around the COVID-19 began to subside in the face of a return to the times of anticommunist hysteria; even if the so-called communism hovers in a unknown place, little beyond the history books. In this hysteria, the absent Biden, the imbecile Boris and the whole crew of managers from European countries shine.

In the Portuguese parish, once again, the fabulous minister Augustus SS shines, always attentive to translate the wise words of Stoltenberg; who, in turn, will report to a man of enormous political acuity… a Biden. In short, a luxury hierarchy.

To increase the diversity, some more presidential vacuities reached your ears, such as the placement, in Lisbon, of a plaque measuring some 20 cm, on a garden bench, inserted in the visit of the Slovenian president; an event that reveals the emptiness that reigns in Europe and not only in the Portuguese parish.

2 - About Ukraine and the arms business

The idiocy that characterizes the Portuguese political class, as well as the media, totally distorts the question of Ukraine. But it was far from the height of imbecility reached when the famous CNN announces a Chinese aircraft carrier flying over Taiwan.

The war in Ukraine will last and, in the Portuguese parish, it seems to have returned to the times of the colonial war, with the majority of scribes and television commentators finding in the Russians the incarnation of Evil; just as, in the old days, at Fatima people prayed for the conversion of Russia. Fifty years ago, the Russians, they were also singled out for their wickedness in supporting the “terrorists”—taken over by Lucifer's agents—committed to fighting civilization, progress, the love of the Portuguese homeland on the part of Africans; these, obviously, moved and proud before the flying of the ugly Portuguese flag[1].

At that time, the defense of the homeland and of Western and Christian civilization, they were carried out on TV by individuals as repellent as Dutra Faria, Barradas de Oliveira and João Coito, hardened fascists; today, many feathers replicate a similar attitude. A lack of exemption, in exchange for a plate of lentils.

Generally in Europe, and particularly in Portugal, - by osmosis – and following the interests of the press, dominated by political-financial groups, everyone becomes nowadays, russophobic; as, in the time of fascism, referring the communists - real or, supposed to be.

Ukraine's integration into the EU called for when the question that arises is that of the country's integration into NATO, in the US orbit. The US wants to sell weapons in Europe and create a military device along the Ukrainian border with Russia to secure the deal. Recall, that in 1962, the Soviets placed missiles in Cuba and global war could have occurred if Khrushchev had not retreat; everything indications are that this time, the retreat would fall to the USA and its NATO, even with a devastated Ukraine.

Strategically, the EU's dependence on Russia is very high and goes beyond the supply of fossil energy, nickel and cereals, etc. Taking Germany as an example of what is happening in Europe, US imports in 2021 were irrelevant (85 M euros), when compared to those of the main European supplier, China (167 M euros), in a general total of 1172 M euros. To sell, the US only has guns and “Hollywood”.

In the case of China, this country's exports to the US in 2020 are 3.3 times higher than imports; and, in the case of US exports to China, in the same year, they did not absorb more than 6.6% of Chinese imports; which in purely economic terms means the unsustainable situation of a trade deficit of 317 M euros. On the other hand, in 2021, China – the main US supplier – represented 18.4% of the total, while China itself only absorbed 8.6% of US exports, ranking third, after Canada and Mexico.

These imbalances will increase with the development of the Silk Roads - which must pass through Russia - since the China/Europe maritime connection is much more time-consuming and expensive. And there are developments in the Far East/Europe link across the Arctic.

Europe has become a semi-colony of the USA, with the latter deciding which weapons to buy from Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, Northrup and General Dynamics; and who decide - in the name of the sacred interests of NATO - the share of European GDP destined for the purchase of American weapons (2%). Faced with the Russian "danger", the US wants to increase that amount, accentuating Europe's political subordination and the obvious cronyism with many of its rough bosses.

The interest of the US with the integration of Ukraine, as is well known, is to place military bases along the Russian-Ukrainian border so that… the Russians can walk along the border and take portraits of the military made in the USA; it is to create a new curtain (not of iron, as before) and to accentuate the role of Europe as a branch of the decadent USA, extending this subaltern to the next generations.

This decadence can be seen in the way US governments have handled the pandemic; and as a company, Pfizer knew how to take advantage of the COVID-19 to gain weight, under an administration headed by an ignorant crook like Trump; the one who knew how to create conditions to claim an “America first” through a number of COVID-19 cases (81 million), higher than the sum of India + Brazil (73 million) even though these two countries have five times the population of the USA.

Another example to mention is the ridiculous military alliance AUKUS (USA/GB/Australia) to face China! And it seems that no other country in the East wanted to get involved in the adventures of the realm of chewing gum... It is a squalid image of the old SEATO[2], an alliance dissolved in 1977 and which then included the aforementioned countries and five more, with the same obsession as today - isolating China.

Today, the US wants to expand to Ukraine a few military bases to replicate what they did in an artificial Kosovo, after the breakup of Yugoslavia; and, as happened in South Korea and Japan where the US has maintained military installations since the 1945/55 period, to police… China, of course.

As proven anti – militarists — something almost non-existent in the political class — we do not accept that the US sprinkles the planet with hundreds of military installations scattered around; and that they were getting ready to put another one in Ukraine, directed by comedian Zelensky and the recycled Nazis from Maidan Square in Kiev, in 2014; forcing the Russians to react, faced with the provocation of the USA and the platoon of imbeciles and incapable that manage more than 500 M of Europeans.

The decadent US involved Europe in conflicts that only served the interests of the US military-industrial complex, benefiting from the dismemberment of the USSR in 1989. The dominance of the power of the military industry over mediocre presidents such as George W Bush, Trump or the diaphanous Biden, must not make us forget Clinton's wars in the Balkans and Obama's wars in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan; this last country, meanwhile abandoned by Biden in hastily manner, revealing his defeat and showing the evident racism that victimized the Afghan people for twenty years. In the US, the dominant wasp's show racism towards blacks, Latinos, Muslims, and others.

Another US crusade focused on not using North Stream 2 to sabotage the Russian-German partnership on cheap gas supplies. And, Brussels bureaucrats, like the nationals – like gentle dogs – prefer to pay more for gas and increase the cost of living for Europeans – originating in the USA (shale gas), Qatar or Algeria, to the detriment of income of the European peoples; disobey the suzerainty of Washington. In reality, they will pay a rent to the decrepit US economy, while the European peoples do not remember to send overboard the dull bureaucrats of Brussels: and, on the other side of the revolving door, the most repellent elements of the national political classes.

At the end of World War II, the US created two macro-objectives. One was to take the dollar as the international currency of reference, scattering dollars around, in an amount that could never be exchanged for gold or any other currency; which means that the dollar has no value, now or in the future, any longer with the Russian and Chinese contrivances to put themselves out of the use of the dollar. The other macro-objective was to keep the Europe coutada[3] in good order, with buyers of North American weapons, exacerbating the Russian/Soviet threat, in addition to populating Europe with perfectly useless military installations.

With the end of the Warsaw Pact and Comecon, German capital moved eastward, buying equipment and recruiting skilled and cheap labour. It would be logical for the Europeans to politely send American soldiers back home in Europe and leave the military bases vacant or dismantled, as in fact happened with Lajes[4]; and as happened with the Russian troops present in the countries of the East, after the fall of the “Wall”. On the contrary, NATO did not give up and spread to almost all of Eastern Europe and the Balkans, except Belarus, the Caucasus republics, Moldova and Ukraine, in an evident military pressure on Russia.

Symbolically, everything deteriorated when Yeltsin was drunk, so he would accept that the Warsaw Pact countries join NATO; the corrupt oligarchs of “real socialism” began to show themselves to be dedicated neoliberal managers.

On the other hand, in the collapse of the USSR, it was used by the USA, through the war and, the delight of its military-industrial complex, to proceed with economic, political and military disruption in the Balkans[5], the Middle East and Lybia; recently, the same pressure happens during the failed attempt to integrate Venezuela (and its oil) into the US orbit[6].

Now, NATO wants to take the opportunity to increase the domain and sale of weapons made in the USA. The US with some 4.7% of the world population spends 50% of the total military expenditures; and they have hundreds of military installations around the world; without forgetting that NATO countries such as France and the GB have atomic weapons, in addition to the Zionist entity that owns about fifty.

3 - Militarism is a danger to Humanity

We have published a condensed inventory of US military installations around the world; military installations, means a space equipped to participate, directly or indirectly, in the operations of that country, all over the world. More detailed approaches can be made by resorting to a North American source, well informed on the matter. So, let's start by mentioning, for each non-autonomous country or territory, the number of military installations under the US flag. Also, information about where the Pentagon maintains its labs that… certainly aren't dedicated to producing cough syrups.

[4] The Lajes facilities, located in the middle of the Atlantic, are still occupied by the US, but without the military apparatus of the Cold War era. It is known – from the passage of Chinese presidents through the Azores – that China would love to have a military base in the centre of the Atlantic; something the US would never accept. Although, on the contrary, the US has several and well-equipped military installations around China (including atomic weapons).

[5] The dismantling of Yugoslavia, with the independence of the various Balkan “tribes”, gave rise to tiny political entities, identity and, a Kosovo where the Goldsteen base (called the small Guantanamo) was installed for the surveillance of the Balkans. Not only did the US military force participate in this dismantling (with two and a half months of bombing Belgrade) but also the expansionist role of German capital and the proselytizing of the fascist pope Wojtyla, who wanted Slovenian and Croatian Catholics to come and kiss his ring; as happened with a certain head of state who put his religiosity above his public duties, in an act of vassalage to the head of state in the Vatican. (At the photo, the Portuguese president of the Republic and, the Pope).

[6] The alarm of the “international community” (generally understood by USA+EU+Australia and little else) was then not observed; as the same “international community” was also not bothered by the invasions and destabilizations carried out in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya or Yemen (in these cases with all the racist contempt towards Arabs and Islamists. can be compared with the hysteria and demonization about the war in Ukraine, carried out by the media, always attentive to the search for sensationalism and what comes from the owner's voice.
