The bullets of war seem to pinch the energy transactions little

The dogs bark and the caravan moves on... The clowns remain on stage, entertaining the viewers. But by now, the reality is spreading that every dollar is being guaranteed by a negative balance of $30 trillion, a repayment value impossible even if everything in the US were sold; hence Russia's refusal to pay in dollars for its hydrocarbons, and other patterns of transactions in Asia that have put the dollar out of the loop for some time now.

The decadence of the USA followed that of Europe which, at the end of World War II, had accepted the supremacy of the USA, generating the amalgam that we now call  BideNato [1]

In this ensemble, two situations come together. The decadence of Europe, made up of small national parishes, constantly elbowing each other, with Germany standing out as the only global commercial power within the EU. And English pride, symbolically shaken with the independence of India and consolidated when Harold Wilson, 25 years later, decreed Suez as the eastern limit of English action, accepting the growing strategy of the USA, which has been anchoring its power in a military presence spread across the globe.

The Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) has ascertained the number of shipments of crude oil, liquefied natural gas, refined petroleum products and coal, during the first hundred days after the start of the war in Ukraine.

As noted below, Russia has had no difficulty selling ... energy products. Even if among the buyers figure countries of the NATO circle.

 What will be really difficult is to find such a minuscule group of people as von Leyden, Boris, Stoltenberg, Zelensky, Borrell, without forgetting the champion Biden and the aide Costa, who does everything as a servant in the high spheres of European bureaucracy. And, we do not mention a verbose Lusitanian, however much he may crumble into phrases so full of literary, historical and philosophical depth as "The Portuguese people are the reason why we are Portugal".
